Where can you do a holiday service project in Colorado Springs?

  1. Marian House Kitchen
    Serve a hot meal. The Marian House Kitchen offers hot, nutritious meals 365 days a year to anyone free of charge from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm. They are always looking for more volunteers.
  2. TESSA
    TESSA has a variety of projects for volunteers on their beautiful campus which serves people escaping abuse. Check out their website for the latest service project opportunities.
  3. Westside Cares
    Help with their shower or laundry programs, adopt a family for the holidays, or help with other program needs for this valuable community resource.
  4. Springs Rescue Mission
    Serve meals or welcome guests to their services which offers people shelter, housing, nutrition and hygiene services, and work opportunities. You can drop off a bag of donation items too!
  5. Ronald McDonald House
    Prepare a comforting, home-cooked meal or treat in their House kitchen, or assist with other projects that make the House a warm environment for families with critically-ill children.

 

Where can you donate holiday help or gifts in Colorado Springs?

  1. Children’s Hospital Colorado
    You can donate new toys, clothes, art supplies, and more. Lots of options here.
  2. Springs Rescue Mission
    They have a unique take on adopting a family at Christmas. Check it out.
  3. Salvation Army
    Purchase a gift for a child in-store or online through this Walmart and Salvation Angel Tree Program.
  4. Fire Station
    Drop off helpful items to your local firefighters like individually-wrapped snacks that can be on a truck for a long day, chapstick, socks, baby powder, or sunscreen. They love gifts!
  5. Gently-used items
    We list several nonprofits where you can donate home goods, toys, medical supplies, clothes, and more. Many of these places offer community holiday programs too.
