Every Joyful Spaces session helps a neighbor in need.

U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development 2020.

In 2019, Joyful Spaces started as a way to help people feel better in their homes. Over time that grew into a desire to serve neighbors in more difficult situations.

In 2022, we founded Impactful Organizing, a Colorado Springs 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides professional organizing sessions to people in need referred by trusted social service partners.

These are homes where clutter and unsafe conditions are deeply affecting health, safety, or quality of life.

To help make this work possible:

  ● 13% of Joyful Spaces session revenue goes directly to Impactful Organizing.
  ● In 2025, we’re on track to donate $8,130.94 to support these projects.

Every time you book a session with Joyful Spaces, you’re helping fund organizing support for someone who couldn’t otherwise afford it.

**We are the only Colorado nonprofit offering this type of in-home support.**

About Impactful Organizing

At Impactful Organizing, we believe that a safe home is foundational for a stable life.

We partner with social service agencies in Colorado Springs to help individuals and families in-need turn overwhelmed, unsafe spaces into peaceful, supportive environments.

Client Story

“I was afraid they’d judge me—but it felt like a good friend coming to help in a really hard time.”

This grandmother shares how Impactful Organizing helped her turn an upside-down home into a stable, organized space for her two grandsons.

Impactful Organizing receives referrals from social service partners who are already walking alongside individuals and families in difficult circumstances, including:

  ● TESSA
  ● Mt. Carmel Veteran Services
  ● Colorado Medicaid
  ● El Paso County Department of Human Services
  ● Rocky Mountain PACE
  ● Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity

These partnerships help identify neighbors who most need safe, functional living spaces—and who might not otherwise be able to access professional organizing support.
