Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA) was founded to meet the needs of Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) members. CCHA's team of Care Coordinators expand access to needed services, promote a more coordinated system of care, and improve quality of care and outcomes.
El Paso County Department of Human Services (EPCDHS) strive to protect our most vulnerable citizens, keep families together, and help people become self-sufficient. We do this through food and medical assistance, as well as abuse and neglect protection and prevention.
Family Life Services helps single moms and their children build new futures through faith-based community in a residential program and an outreach program.
Rocky Mountain Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provides comprehensive health care services to their participants. One of the main objectives of the PACE program is to enable older adults to live in the community with the support of the PACE organization.
Safe Families for Children create extended family–like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by faith to keep children safe and keep families intact.
TESSA helps women and their children achieve safety and well-being while challenging communities to end sexual and family violence.

Meghan Jackson
Executive Director
Meghan believes in the potential of others. Her natural passion for reimagining spaces lead her to help people improve their lives through peaceful, organized environments.
Her 11 years of experience in social services, with the most notable position being her role at the Department of Human Services (DHS). During that time, she developed a life skills teaching program, built community partnerships, and helped hundreds of community members to greater self-sufficiency. She has a Bachelors of Psychology and Masters in Social Work (MSW).
In 2019, she founded Joyful Spaces, a home organizing business. This career pivot allowed her to embark on her foster care journey, and she quickly realized that this practical support was very similar to her social services experience.
Sponsor A Space is the culmination of Meghan's love of giving, her support of communities, and desire to equip people with tools to develop their own peace and productivity in their daily lives.

Katie is passionate about being of service to others to foster their growth and empowerment. Her full family life has led her on her own journey of creating systems to organize their busy lives.
Her work has intersected child welfare and adolescent social work during her time as the Department of Human Services (DHS) Liaison for the Community Mental Health Center. She provided utilization management for youth in the highest levels of care and supervised the DHS Placement Team. She has a Bachelors in American Racial & Multicultural Studies and a Masters in Social Work (MSW).
Katie is currently the Program Supervisor at Fostering Healthy Futures at Lutheran Family Services. She's committed to the Sponsor A Space mission to support our community in such a self-empowering, tangible way.
Alex Maestas
Board Member
Alex believes in the power of interior design to create peaceful environments. He sees a person's natural needs and then creates the surroundings that help them thrive with others.
Since 2008, Alex has specialized as an independent Interior Designer after attending the Art Institute of Denver. He then became a foster parent in 2010, and has supported and advocated for children in both Denver and El Paso counties ever since. When running a home with 3-6 children at a time, the importance of thoughtful organization, space planning, and intentional design becomes critical for maintaining a healthy living space.
His attention to detail, eye for design, and ability to support our communities' children, made him the perfect mix of qualities to enhance our Sponsor A Space's mission and values.

Cher is passionate about serving those who find themselves living in chaos. She knows firsthand, organization and structure reap the rewards of a calm sprit and mental peace.
Since 2005, Cher has worked in the financial industry. She believes organization in the home is related to organization in finance, mental wellness, and life. She see’s day in and out, the stress of financial chaos with clients and the potential to do better with small steps and goals.
Cher has mentored foster teens in the past and has a heart to help others. Today, she is still involved with fundraising and giving to local charities. She thrives on self-growth and listening to motivational speakers. The belief of doing a little better each day, has been a great journey in her mental, physical, and financial health.
