Home organization isn’t about achieving picture-perfect spaces.
At Joyful Spaces & Sponsor A Space, we believe that it’s about creating a home that makes life easier, calmer, and more functional.
It’s about making your space fit you and your needs and preferences.
But we understand that we can’t help everyone one-on-one.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce that we’ve launched a new workshop format!
We’ve designed these workshops to help more people explore the power of organization—even if you’re just starting out.
We kicked off our first session with a group of future homeowners through Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.
These attendees were in the exciting process of preparing for their new homes, and our goal was simple:
offer realistic, helpful tools to set them up for success from day 1.
The excitement snowballed!
The positive energy and engagement from that first group inspired us to share the same workshop with Family Life Services, an incredible Colorado Springs nonprofit supporting single moms and their children in building stable, thriving lives.
It’s been beautiful to watch how a conversation about organizing can quickly become a conversation about confidence, comfort, and control over their own well-being.
At the beginning of each workshop, we invite participants to take a short Clutter Score Quiz.
You can take it too! Take the quiz here.
The quiz helps people reflect on how clutter might be impacting their lives—mentally, emotionally, financially, or just in the way their day flows. Every person is different, and this quiz gives us a gentle, non-judgmental way to start the conversation about use of space.
You won’t find rigid rules or cookie-cutter solutions in our workshops. This is a judgment-free zone, always.
What you will find is encouragement, empathy, and practical steps you can actually use.
We explore topics like:
How clutter impacts stress, time, money, and relationships
What your personal organizing style says about your needs
Three foundational steps to tackle any space: Sort, Store, and Systemize
We love helping people discover what works for them.
Real Stories of Real Success!
One of our Sponsor A Space clients found success not by getting rid of more—but by changing how she stored things. With labeled bins and clear shelving, her pantry now works for her instead of against her. Read her story here.
Organization doesn’t have to mean doing everything alone—or having a color-coded closet.
Sometimes it means just getting the right shelf, the right bin, and the right kind of support.
Thanks to generous community donations, Sponsor A Space provides free, trauma-informed, professional organizing sessions to individuals and families referred by our trusted social service partners.
With this new workshop format, we’re excited to expand our reach and support even more neighbors with approachable, empowering resources that can really change lives.
